PSALM 82–EPHESIANS 6:12
Being a union leader doesn’t make someone a communist. In fact, collective bargaining is another form of capitalism, i.e., the commoditization of labor and the realization that nobody “owes” hard work to another for a price other than that which the laborer dictates; only communists believe in slavery and price controls.
What makes someone a communist is having the government take sides in the labor vs management fight and pick winners and losers. The government is there only to mediate contractual disputes.

Collective bargaining is a price control. All parties collectively gain a wage based on unit price.
